1.) Do you process ALL Hotel bookings?
Yes, ECS processes all hotel bookings that are reserved through the GDS' and any reservations that have been booked directly with the hotel or via the Internet as long as they are integrated into the PNR. (Passenger Name Record) <back to top>

2.) Do you charge for every booking or just the ones you collect/recover?
ECS provides a fully integrated "end to end" solution. Our pricing is an all inclusive blended pricing model which includes commission file consolidation, segment capture, reconciliation, tracking, 3X dunning, recovery and reporting. As we are transaction based and do not charge a percentage of what is consolidated or collected our fees are a single all inclusive transaction fee for each segment matured and processed.

3.) Do you do just Hotels or do you process cars, tours. Leisure etc.?
ECS offers services on ALL NON ARC Segments. This includes but not limited to hotels, cars, leisure, tours and packages, cruises, Travel Insurance, International Phone Rentals, Black Car / Limo Services to name a few. If it is placed into the PNR ECS can process and reconcile those transactions.

4.) You state that the found revenues on missing segments funds the program. How do you measure that?
As part of the reporting program ECS annotates with each file download all of the segments that are found to be active at the point of sale through departure. These segments are then tracked through maturity and monitored as to whether dunning activity was required for commission recovery. The revenues are then also tracked and reported therefore giving us the necessary resource to measure the revenue value on those segments the agency did NOT even know was active never mind that revenues were do for collection. This is part of our standard reporting package.

6.) Implementation - what is the process? Do you come on site? What is involved?
ECS program implementation is an efficient, easy and painless process. Because the technology and process is transparent to all at the agent and operations level and the reporting and file detail is processed off-line by ECS and provided for review to the agency it is a NON invasive, easy to implement program. ECS provides all the necessary documentation and full implementation support either on site or by conference call. Fast, efficient and EASY.

7.) Do you install software on our network?
ECS does NOT install any software applications on your network. We do however provide a small application that resides on a single workstation that information and data is pushed to you're your staff. There is NO impact on your network and with this configuration there are no security issues or concerns. <back to top>

8.) How do you know what segments are active in the GDS and that did NOT make into across the back office?
As part of the ECS reconciliation process with the first pass of the data collected through our proprietary software SNAP SHOT, we compare all of the active segments in the GDS and compare them with the matured bookings gleaned from the back-office accounting system. By comparing what is "active" in these two data bases, whatever does NOT match identifies what did NOT make it across the interface as SNAP SHOT captures 100% of all segments active at the point of sale. <back to top>

9.) Do you charge for bookings or processed segments?
ECS charges for all processed segments. This can be matched against the files handed back to the agency for recording and file update. Therefore the agency ONLY pays for the work that has been done and processed NOT just bookings which would artificially increase the activity. <back to top>

10.) What GDS' do you operate on?
ECS proudly is operational on ALL GDS": Amadeus, Galileo by Travelport, Galileo International, Sabre and Worldspan. <back to top>

11.) What back office systems do you work with?
Currently ECS hands off files to all the major agency back office accounting systems including; Central Command/ Agresso, GlobalMax, GlobalMatrix, TRAMS and TravCom. <back to top>

12.) What types of reports are available?
In cooperation with our strategic alliance partners at CTS, we provide the most comprehensive on-line reporting program available in the industry today. From date SNAP SHOT to outstanding dunning reports to collection activity reports, with over 80 data elements the reports are customizable, comprehensive and even displays scanned images of the checks paid. <back to top>

13.) What data security features do you maintain. Is our data kept private?
ECS maintains and subscribes to the highest level of security features. Through our server facility all data and communications are encrypted to the highest industry security standards. Additionally, ECS does NOT keep or maintain any data which is classified as security sensitive i.e. credit card information of personal traveler data. By contract with our customers this data is kept confidential. <back to top>

14.) Do you keep personal data i.e. Credit Card info?
ECS does not capture, keep or maintain ANY client or guest personal data or credit card information. Only the data required to process and effective commission recovery query to the vendors is captured and processed in order to provide an easy and efficient response by the vendor which normally results in higher recovery results. <back to top>

15.) What is the fee for your service?
ECS provides a sliding scale transaction pricing model which as stated earlier is a fully blended all inclusive transaction pricing model. This program is based on transaction volume. In most ALL cases, the found revenues on the segments found at mid office that the agency did NOT even know they had and needs invoicing, funds the entire program. The average cost per transaction is just under a dollar per processed segment. Please contact ECS for a more detailed proposal based on your agency's transaction volume. <back to top>

16.) Can you tell the difference between net vs. commissionable bookings and do you charge for non commissionable bookings?
As part of ECS' process, we are able through implementation data and actual transaction processing as standard operating procedure we identify and report on all transaction and classify them as commissionable or net/non commissionable or corporate rate specific. <back to top>

17.) How far back can you track for missing commissions on our behalf?
ECS as standard operating procedure with no additional charge goes back six (6) months to identify open bookings but has the capability to go back further based on the agencies segment retention activity and procedures. <back to top>

18.) What type of increased commissions can we expect by using your program?
Based on the agency's specific demographic and operational configuration the increased commission recovery has a wide range. However, ECS proudly has statistical data from the existing client base that ranges from nearly 10% to a high of 48%. <back to top>

19.) Typically what percentage of bookings do you find missing from the back office vs. active in the GDS ?
On average, ECS finds 20% more segments active in the GDS that are NOT present in the back office. We have seen a disparity as high as 55% missing before the implementation of our program. <back to top>

20.) What percentage of missing segments do you find need dunning activity?
Again, on average nearly 25% of the segments found through our proprietary technology SNAP SHOT that did not make it through the back office interface require dunning/invoicing for recovery. This is a key point of differentiation as these are the revenues an agency has no way of knowing that they are owed/due as all dunning services today are based on data collected from the back office. <back to top>

21.) How often do you dun/invoice and what's the process?
ECS invoices our clients once monthly and normally 5-8 business days after the close of the month. This way we can clearly identify the transactions processed and revenues recovered and consolidated. ECS also provides a running total of what transactions are open for invoicing in each if the three dunning periods at 60, 90 and 120 days and what has actually been recovered in each of those same periods. <back to top>
